Sriti Jha (born February 26, 1986) is an Indian television actress, who appears in the Indian soap opera. She is currently playing the lead role of Pragya in Zee TV’s serial Kumkum Bhagya. Currently, she is one of the highest-paid television actresses of India.

Early and personal life
Jha done her primary education from Kolkata and Kathmandu. Later that, spending childhood in Darbhanga, she comes to live with her family in Kolkata and stayed 10 years in Kolkata and then went to Kathmandu in Nepal. Then they shifted in New Delhi, where she went to studies in Laxman Public School. Jhalli, Titu are the nick names given to Jha by her family members. Industry has given so many Nick names to Jha like Chashmish, Fuggi, Hawa Hawaai, Lady Mogambo, etc. But Jha has the most interesting name on her Instagram profile called Paagal Aurat. Sriti is a fine poet. She wrote few of her own dialogues for her shows Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava? and Balika Vadhu.[citation needed]

Career
Jha made her debut with the role of Malini Sharma in the Disney India’s teen drama Dhoom Machaao Dhoom.[6] She rose to prominence with the serial Jyoti on NDTV Imagine as Sudha Sharma. In Life OK serial, she portrayed the role of victim of domestic violence in Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava.[5] In Kumkum Bhagya she played the double role of Pragya and Munni.
