Zain Imam is an Indian television actor, working in Hindi soap operas and is the recipient of several awards, including a Zee Gold and a Zee Rishtey Award.

After graduating from the Amity International Business School, Imam made his acting debut with a supporting role in the MTV India’s youth based television show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan (2014–2015). Zain rose to prominence with the leading role of an avenger Yuvraj “Yuvi” Luthra in the romantic soap opera Tashan-e-Ishq (2015–2016). Subsequently, he achieved further success with the Zee TV’s television series Yeh Vaada Raha (2015–2017). As of 2017, Imam is seen as the main male protagonist, Neil Khanna in the family drama Naamkarann, that airs on Star Plus opposite Aditi Rathore.

He completed his graduation and is an MBA holder from Amity International Business School. After completing his graduation, he worked in the private sector but later he quit his job and tried his luck in the entertainment industry.

Career
Zain started his career as a model and walked for many popular agencies such as Reebok, Aldo Group and McDowell’s No.1. He then did a few TV commercials before pursuing his career in acting.

He started his television career in 2014 with MTV’s popular youth drama Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan as the carefree and jovial Abhimanyu Thakkar but his role ended when the character died from cancer. The show ended in December 2015.

Zain Imam then rose to fame when he was cast as Yuvraj Luthra, the main male lead in Zee TV’s popular romantic series Tashan-E-Ishq. In the show, his character of Yuvraj Luthra had many shades and his portrayal of Yuvraj Luthra was very appreciated by the audience.[5] Imam had also tried many looks for his character in the show.[6] For his work in the show he was awarded with the award for Favourite Dushman at Zee Rishtey Awards 2015 and Best Actor in a Negative Role at Zee Gold Awards 2016. Tashan-E-Ishq ended in September 2016.
