We had a major surprise last week when for the first time ever, Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela managed to make it to the Top 10 and it certainly seemed that Zee is only going to get better next week. And this week will probably be bookmarked as there is a sheer dominance by the channel.
However, in a Zee TV dominated list, we have a show making a return after ftseveral months and a special mention for Star Bharat’s show Kya Haal Mr. Paanchaal? who makes it to the Top 20 with 1.6 points. So, till then, let’s rock and roll-
Managing to sustain it’s 10th spot is Piyaa Albela who made a grand entry last week. With 2.1 points, we only think the show has a better future ahead.
While it’s happy times for several shows, Udaan faces a drop this week. But that is not in terms of viewership, which remains the same at 2.3 points, but a roaring comeback of another show resulted in Udaan’s fall to the 9th spot.
Talk about comebacks and there couldn’t have been a more roaring comeback than the one for Star Plus’ beloved show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. After a really really long time, YHM has finally paved it’s way back in the list at the 8th spot with an impressive 2.3 points. And guess what? The Budapest track numbers are not even here yet.
Witnessing a one spot drop this week is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as it stays put at 2.4 points but drops marginally to the 7th spot.
Also facing a fall this week is the Colors’ topper, Shakti.. Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii as it grabs 2.4 points and the 6th spot.
This may be the second to last time we see Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 in our list as the final report of the show is due next week. However, this is certainly not a good week for KBC as it drops immensely to the 5th spot and also loses viewership to 2.4 points.
While it maybe a large drop for KBC, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is going guns blazing and has now rose to the 4th spot, but what’s more important is that it soars to 2.8 points.
After fetching the top spot last week, it’s a drop for Kumkum Bhagya as the show goes on to lose decent numbers down to 2.8 points as compared to crossing the 3 point mark last week.
Talk about finishing it big, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs 2017 signs off with a bang and it couldn’t have had a better end. The show’s finale fetches big numbers as it garners 2.9 points and the 2nd spot.
It has been the competition between the ‘bhagyas’ for a long time and the switcheroo game is on as Kumkum Bhagya drops to the 3rd spot, while Kundali Bhagya grabs the top spot for the first time in urban ratings. The show has been amazingly consistent and it continues to get better as it roars this week with 3.1 points.
Talk about dominance and this week couldn’t spell dominance better as the top 3 are all Zee TV shows and this leads Zee TV to become the top channel this week.
Let’s see if the channel manages to continue ruling next week too. What do you have to say about this week? Leave in your comments below..
